My dealer did clearance the motor mount and shimmed/spaced the muffler mounts till the vibration was 98% gone. They also went as far as completely removing the muffler to be sure it was not the engine vibrating excessively. Road testing without the muffler on it at all eliminated the vibration completely, engine's good, I'm happy with the dealer but not the MOCO.
Cant say enough about my dealer, I let them do all the mount adjustments and still had the vibe. Then I proved it to them it was the exhaust mounting and he is paying for me a new system of my choice! Went with some Samsons, like the 2 into2 look much more than the 2 into 1, best part is...its FREE!

WOW... now that is an unusual dealer you have there..
I'm beginning to see lots of one year old Switchbacks with less than 2,000 miles. Somebody got out of this 2012 at a Wisconsin dealer real quick. Only 1581 miles, priced $13,900.
I test rode a Switchback last summer at a dealer demo event. Had to follow a group leader, so I never revved to 3000 rpm where excessive vibes are reported.
So what are we suppose to do? Will the MOCO recall our bikes and fix the bugs?
I got this bike for the wife when it first came out and had the same issues with it when it hit the 2700 range. Took it in and the dealer did alot of work to it, shaving mouts, loosening engine mouts , starting it then tighten them, the whole nine yards and no change. Finally we heard a slight noise it the engine, took it and found that they cylinders were not within spec for the pistons. They wound up replacing both cylinders and pistons and it is still there but not as bad as it was. Guess the wife just got use to it, which sucks for her, as soon as we can we are ditching that model for a RK or SG for her.
