I am looking for some saddle bags to fit my 02 Lowrider. The choices out there are not great for what I have seen so far. Just wondering what some of you are using and how you like them. Oh and I did do a search on here before posting but did not find anything helpful.
The pic in my avatar photo is of our LP3100 series bags on a lowrider. We are also working on a new detachable bag that does not require you to relocate the turn signals. It will be available in about 6 weeks.
How far are you from Sioux Falls? You can check our bags out at J&L HD if its close.
i'm using the cheap hard bags from ebay for like $140 as are many others on this site. This one lists them as honda but they're universal.... gotta drill your own holes in the back of them for whatever brackets you use and how you want them to line up.... pretty simple with a sharpie marker. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-mo...ht_1601wt_1185
They look good, decent size and very cheap. I'm using the quick release ghost brackets with mine. Pretty handy for storing a jacket in one side, toilet paper, phone charger, snacks, drink, and some other things in the other side.... They're more sturdy than I expected but aren't super heavy duty. No probs so far!! I also put some 3m heavy duty double sided tape from wal mart on the back of a little mirror and stuck it on the inside of the lid. pretty handy, especially for my gf!! lol
I have Harley Dyna Big Bags on my 06 SB. Previous Owner didn't have a garage so the leather has shrunk a bit and I am replacing them with the same bags.
I found a like new set on Ebay or you might have your dealer check old stock and find some that way.

I am actually in Sioux Falls and I am at J&L all the time. I will check them out next time I am there. Thanks.
Not sure what you mean by not great, but as far as bags that fit a Low Rider (or any Dyna for that matter), the options are nothing short of unlimited. Whats the budget? You want cheap slant throw over bags with some universal brackets, look at Jafrum or leatherups site. Willie and Max make a dozen or so that fit ALL Dyna's. Leatherneck Jim's, Viking, Fox Creek, CC Saddlebags, US Saddlebags (site sponsor by the way), or the high end guys like Boss Bags, Leather Pros and Iron Bags. I had some Amish guys custom make me a set and used EZ Brackets to mount them. Whats your budget???
