Yea I never cared about that frame sticker until now. For some reason they really stick out to me now. I'll have to look into removing it.
parts eeter, I discovered that Meguiars Ultimate Compound last year and have been using it on the cars with great results along with the Ultimate Wax. I don't think it would take care of the runs but I will use it either tomorrow or the next day since i'm off the next 2 days
Funny you mentioned it because I started to use it today but since it was in the 30s and I was outside all day messing with the rear wheel I said screw it and went into the nice warm house. I'll let you know how it does.
I tried to pound the slider seal caps up at the notch with a screwdriver (I don't have a drift) but they wouldn't budge and it started to damage the caps so I stopped and just taped them off with masking tape. I was really happy with how that came out. It looks like I took the caps off with how clean and straight the paint looks right there.

Thanks for the info and be sure to post your results of buffing the legs. I will be doing my FXDX legs soon with the same paint.
I noticed when my bike was up on the lift after I put the front wheel back on that I could only get about a half revolution before the brake drag stopped it when I spun it.
I cleaned up the caliper (needed it bad, the inside pistons were stuck in) and got the pistons to move freely so that should be good.
I had the longer spacer on the left hand rotor side when it was doing this so I swapped them and put the longer one on the other side. It seemed to help some and the wheel would make 1 1/2 revolutions before it stopped due to brake drag. I looked up and saw that the longer spacer is supposed to be on the rotor side like I had it though so I put it back and now with the cleaned up caliper I get about 1 1/4 turns before it stops.
