Default Question for the guys with true-tracks installed

I put a set of mini apes (12" HD) on my superglide and now notice when making a turn and downshifting the back end wiggles. Only happens when turning, slowing down, downshifting and letting the clutch out while re-applying the throttle (like turning from a major secondary road onto a side street - I do tend to ride pretty hard). Will a true-track help with this? And does it affect the rear tire wear? I have checked the swing arm bushings, fall away and alignment (rear wheel and total). Everything is within specifications according to the service manual.

IMO a night and day difference in all types of riding. It's a pain to install on a Dyna but well worth it. I wouldn't ride without one. Do it.

Fully agree. I had my TT installed by dealer as I am one of those that is not mechanically gifted.

I put 14" minis on mine. I had high speed wobbles at around 70mph. I cant remember if the stock buckhorns also had the same problem. the TT eliminated my wobble. I dont see how it would affect your rear tire wear.

Did you put polyurethane bushings in your front end when you put on the mini apes?

The only time I ever noticed any rear wheel steer or wobble was when I would take long sweepers at high speed pushing the limit. I never really noticed much at the slower speeds with my bike. After checking alignment the only other thing to do was to try the true track which solved the wobble issues on my bike. I do have the mini apes but don't see where the buck horn or mini apes would make any difference in the tracking of your bike.

Yes. There was too much play, made big difference and do not notice that much vibration.

I have one, am mechanically inclined and can not figure out how to install the bugger. I have both sets of instructions.

Is there a decent how to on here with pics someone can guide me to?
