Went to try to take the tire off to fix this little problem and didn't have a large enough wrench/socket to take the axle nut off. What size wrench/socket does it take? Probably gonna wind up geeting a new tire but need to have the tools to do this later if I have to. Got a steel radial tire plug in it now. Drove around the block a few times and no problems so guess it can get me somewhere to get it replaced. Anyone got opinions on brands, Metzler, Avon, or Dunlop (on strike).
Can't help you with the nut size, but I'm running avon venums and I'm happy with them. Be sure to check www.mototire.com for pricing. They deliver fast and their pricing--even with shipping added--is usually competitive.
