K. 08 street bob with a 96. My worked heads are to be shipped next week. Bike is going to my bro's shop. I bought woods t6-6 cams with Torrington bearings,worked over heads,putting all my willie g stuff going on. I have new levers and covers all around,hand grips and pegs.
Now I am swapping heads and I was thinking about a 0.030 cometic head gasket. Will that small bump in compression hurt me. The heads still have stock combustion chamber size,they just flow better. I also have a pcv to put in and a propipe. It's gonna take a couple weeks of nights to get er done so I am asking everyone for any advice,tips or tricks to doing all of this. I am getting the inner bearing removal/installer tool for the cams and yes I have a manual. I am just asking for some insight from guys who have actually done it.

No, the bump in the compression won't hurt you.

I shaved my heads down to right where the fins are and boosted the sh*t out of mine, although I have compression releases installed for start up.

 

They guy I bought the heads from put acr in so that should make it easy on my starter.
