stock superglide bars wtf?

stock superglide bars wtf?
Was looking at the stock super glides handlebars today at the dealer and they have got to be the ugliest bars I've ever seen. What was Harley thinking? They kinda remind me of tricycle handlebars. No wonder mostly everybody changes out the bars! IMO they ruin the bike.

Isn't there two options for the bars. The stock bars aren't that different than yours other than a little more pullback. I was looking at them but they are 1-1/4 at the clamp. Are you talking about the optional mini apes? I ended up getting the Nightrod special bars in chrome.

Some like em, some don't. I've got a kind of "ehhhh" feeling about mine. Not the greatest looking, but I find on longer rides, they're actually pretty comfortable for me.
