Hi guys I am new to this forum. I have a 2010 superglide custom. I am 6'3 and I need forward control extension but I cannot find anyone that makes them for my bike, any ideas? Or does anyone have a newer superglide with extensions on it?
I know exactly how you feel. I am 6'1" and my ride is a 2006 Superglide. I have been looking for the perfect seat which would push me back a couple of inches to go with my forwards. Haven't been convinced by any of the reviews or recommendations yet. Everyone has their own opinion and I don't want to spend the $ on a new seat until I'm sure.
i have had the Kury 3" inch kit installed for a while now and find its perfect for long rides and going away for a week at a time, only thing is you have to be careful tightening the counter sunk bolts as the allen key head isnt quite the right tolerance , i couldnt find a metric or imperial allen key that fit perfectly....
Ya I was looking at the kuryakyn ones. I called them and they told me that they won't fit for some reason. But I found a website that sells the same part number and it says they will. I might just order them and see if they will work. I just wonder if the forks don't have enough rake to allow the controls to sit out another 3 inches I'm just going to measure 3 inches out from where mine are now.
Borisat, thanks for the info. I will be ordering a set. Another question did your bike come with the 21 inch wheel. I have a 19 and would like to put a 21 on, just heard its a pain trying to switch to a 21

Hey how tall are you? I'm 6'-2" and looking at a 2in or 3in extension. Wondering which one would be better.
2in kit I found on ebay. the 2 plates how does that bolt up?
I'm 6'3" and used the kuryakyn 3 inch extensions. From what I read they would not work with the factory exhaust. I had V&H short shots already. The extensions were really easy to intall and came with decent enough instructions. Like the previous poster mentioned the Allen head bolts are an irregular size so be careful when installing. I put a little valve lapping compound on the Allen wrench it helps grip the bolt and help it from rounding out.
It worked out really well, put me at just the right position.
