Ok guys I am about to pull the trigger on a 2012 fat bob big blue pearl w/abs what do you guys think is a fare price? Hear are the #s the bike is 15,734.00 + abs 1,195.00 + 995.00 F/P + tax 1,546.00 + tags 200.00 = 19,670.00 out the door these are right out of the book. So what is a fare # I should haggle them down too? I plane on going to the three dealers in my area to get prices just wanted to know if any one has a good # I should try to get them down too any help would be appreciated thanks again Emax.
Forget abs its crap. Maybe you can get 5-10% off.list if you are lucky. Personally I rather work with one dealer, have a relationship, and get better service. Playing dealer against dealer Doesn't help that and they treat as just another one off customer...
Btw its worked out for me. Walked in the shop in August and asked the owner for the winter 20% discount on a parts order - like 4k worth. Saved a grand on it alone. He knew I bough several bikes from him and it was a win/win. Think dollars not pennies
i just bought a 2012 fat bob that had stinger wheels, matching rotors and pulley plus a badlander seat for almost that same exact price. something seems wrong there. mine was brand spankin new.

Jo_mama do you have abs on your bike I know the vivid black is about 400.00 less then the blue and abs is another 1200.00
Well my info comes from the head mechanic at the dealership. He told me he would never buy ABS and we live in the rainy PSW. Go for it and let us know what ya think...
BTW I tried a demo and it didn't compare to the ABS in my FJR - not even close...Go to a parking lot with wet payment and try it out. BTW The FJR come stock with ABS ($1200 is a joke!!!!!!!!!!!)
i've heard the abs is awesome. why do you say it's crap?
Because it just doesn't compare to the ABS in metric bikes which come stock with it. I would test it yourself and form your own opinion like me. I have riden 3 years on my FJR in many situations and it works. The Harley version just can't compete technology wise. It still locked up in low traction situations when I tested it and compared against my FJR.
I wonder if the people stating its awesome have even engaged it and/or compared it it against a metric bike's version (like the FRJ or a BMW).
