I like the ideal of the bike and no doubt it serves a purpose.

1. I rode it and it felt very clucky to me mostly from the new front end...defeats the reason for riding a Dyna IMHO.

2. When I get a bike that has bags on it I want all the other creature comforts as well...ie: fairing/radio and what not

Yuck, that's too bad. It doesn't look much better there than a touring bike without the bags.

Yeah, it defeats the whole bagger-to-stripped-in-seconds thing, which is a big part of the appeal.

I meant CLUNKY.

Almost like there was something wrong with it. Not sure if it was just THAT bike or if they are all like that.

Jam, so your vibration problem is now limited to below 3k rpm? Going through the gears are you still getting them though?

I still don't get that some were saying that the vibes were related to the pipes. I don't see the nexus. I keep envisioning a tail wagging a dog thing. what am I missing?

Actually, I think the dual exhaust notion is a good idea and it's growing on me with bags covering them but those brackets exposed like that...blows the vibe like someone else posted. You go there, might as well go RK and get bag capacity. Even though I'm a bassani fan, I have to give credit to V&H for being bold enough to take a shot over the bow like that.

I think we are going to see lots and lots of after market stuff available as each company steps out and tries to capture whatever the soul of the fld is. I personally, keep changing my mind. LOL

Wonder why V&H doesn’t show the left side of the dual set up?
If the headers came in black the cross under pipe may be less
obtrusive.
Yes the bags would need to stay on; I plan to do that anyway.
Of course the $1000.00 more than a Slip-On means nothing if
it’s a must have.
Can’t wait to hear them.

Those brackets killed it for me. Hopefully some other company will make a better looking true dual exahust.
