Jam, so your vibration problem is now limited to below 3k rpm? Going through the gears are you still getting them though?
I still don't get that some were saying that the vibes were related to the pipes. I don't see the nexus. I keep envisioning a tail wagging a dog thing. what am I missing?
it starts in every gear around 3k, the vibes get worse the higher the gear, and is worse in 6th, I never shifted into 6th last night, soooo , but i was beyond 3k and 110 ish on the odo, and i was runnin from my buddy Bruce he was trying to keep up on his fxdt.., i almost have all my stuff to put my true dual staggars on, i'am losing the 2 in 1.. i will post pics when I'm done..
Next thing to the aftermarket ... saddlebag and fender extensions to give the 'tail dragger' look ... you heard it here first ...
I agree. THE two things that it needs most are the right bags that come down to fender level, able to hold something besides a small jacket and also the correct front springs. I could live with the looks of the bags if they were functional at least. But they are a double negative to me. Small and odd looking.
Nothing more than nice looking dual coolers as Jam said...lol. Well, I guess it's all personal preference. Lots of folks like them actually.
The day Ironbags comes out with their FLD hardware for their leather bags, mine are gone forever, did the springs yesterday.

Besides adding a back rest and luggage rack, the only thing I'm changing is the reading on the odometer. And I agree, everybody has their preferences. No wrong answers to this test. Ha!!
