Default Landmark wheels

Has anyone here had any experience with Landmark wheels.

http://www.landmarkmfg.com/LANDMARK_...HEEL_GRID.html

I was thinking of purchasing a set of there 80 spoke wheels for my 2010 wideglide. The only problem is they dont make a 17' wheel for the rear, however they do make an 18x 5.5 and also do have a 21x 2.15 for the front. The rims are chrome steal, the hubs are chrome billet alluminum and the spokes are stainless. The price isnt bad at $599.95 per wheel. but not sure how the rear would look or fit issues going from the 17" to the 18". Any thoughts on this.

Thanks
Scott

Don't have a wide glide but you should be able to put a 200 on that. That's what a lot on here have done. Looks good.

The 18 will look and work just fine - I have a (cast) 18" on my SG with a 200, not much clearance on mine but yours will have plenty.

Default 80 Spoke "Pearl" wheel

I have Landmark 80 Spoke "Pearl" (ITs kind of like a twisted spoke only different) 21X2.15 on my 2001 FXDWG. I really like the wheel it has actually been on the bike sine 2002 and I see no signs of wear or any chrome issues, no spoke, or hub issues. The only problem I have had with it is that it is a total pain in the *** to clean. In fact I have been looking to trade it for a nice 10 or so spoke mag wheel, as it would cut my cleaning and polishing time down by about half.. So if you are not into cleaning I would advise against it...

Scott...

Call Landmark Customer Service.

I can't foresee any issues going from a 17" to 18" hoop.
However, going to a 200 tire could involve adjusting your spacer to achieve proper offset. I don't see an issue with up to a 180. Just bare in mind, you may have to deal with wiring inside the fender to prevent rubbing. You also may need to consider a the lower profile inside the fender bracket for a 180 or 200 tire. I believe the P/N is 59514-06.

Thanks for the responses, I sent an email to Landmark wheels to see what would be needed on hte back. Just waiting on the reply. I know keeping inside the hubs clean with the 80 spoke will be chore, but I think it will be worth the effort. I regualaryl wash it once week anyways, a couple of hours and few cold ones isnt too much of a waste of time!
