Default helmets

i live in okinawa japan and i cant go to the nearest Harley dealer and check out hemets and try them on. i'm looking for a low profile helmet that is DOT approved but is still approximately the same size of a novelty helmet. any suggestions? i have an old school ZOX helmet now from helmetsrus.com.

Fulmer makes alot of half helmets that are pretty inexpensive. If you are able to spend the money though Harley makes some nice kevlar ones that are super light.

Carbonfiberhelmet.com. I have their half and love it. Do a search on carbon fiber and you'll get tons of reviews.

^ That's a very interesting website.

Are they noticeably smaller than the standard Fulmer half-helmet? That's what I have.

I also have one of those little beanie helmets, but I never wear it. It's uncomfortable, and the wind noise is much louder. (I know that sounds weird, but it's true.)

I'd like to find something in-between. Those carbonfiber.com helmets look like they might be?

I bought a helmet from ACC.
www.carbonfiberhelmets.com
I had a bear of a time getting it adjusted, and it still aint right.Ive tried all the pads and tightened it down to choke level and it still lifts off my head and slides back as soon as I hit anything around 70.
Ive heard many great things about thier stuff so Ive came to the conclusion that its my head thats defective and not the helmet..LOL
Right now I wear a 1969 Bell 1/2 helmet with a baseball cap under it.
Id love to find a helmet thats comfortable without the mushroom head BS...........
