I like the Fulmer line of helmets. I am on my 4th one. The main reason I like them is because I don't feel like Kazoo from the Flintstones. The helmet is not bulbous.
I just bought the carbon fiber version of this helmet and it is super light.
I am always trying on helmets and they all seem to have the Kazoo look. I thought it was because I only feel comfortable in a large and anything bigger than a small seems to look huge.
If I find a place that has the Fulmer that I can try on, I'll give it a try.

My girl has arthritis and bone spurs in her neck and doesn't tolerate helmet weight well. So, a few years ago, I was on a quest to find the lightest DOT. I found many people and manufacturers made claims on what was lightest. Instead, I based my decision on the NHTSA testing. At that time, I found the Daytona half helmet (not carbon fiber) was the lightest which actually past the tests. You are likely to find the best answers by doing your own research.
Just bought 2 helmets from Jafrum. Both half hemets and both naked. (no visor snaps or vents) Got the vega($57), and a skid lid($37). After trying them both on, I have decided to keep the vega. Seemed a little smaller on my already large head. I will say that I tried it on my road king without the windshield at 70mph, and it stays put well. Didn't feel heavy.
My 2 cents
