Ok so if you turn to pg 559 it shows the optional floor pans #item J so my thought is if these are setup for the FLD Softtail and touring models then they should work. Ref 2012 HD parts manual

Default floorboards

OK, today went out and tried to focus on various positions for my feet on the boards and at different speeds.

I think if I was to extend them out beyond 1-1 1/2" it's going to make my feet want to fly off at speeds over 80mph. Not literally, but you can feel it out there. I'm not into lowers and I didn't really consider this wind dynamic earlier. So I'm changing my original thought...extend "out" only one inch, that would be "almost" there and not pick up much more wind.

Forward... now that's also changed for me. If we were to move the entire boards forward 3-4" we will lose some good foot positions. I'm now thinking that the best thing is to do one of those extenders that I posted earlier, I'll post again to this, but with those, I can still move my feet up a good 3-4" but not lose all the area I have now in the stock positions. With those extenders my heel remains on the board and gives lots of little adjustment options for those longer rides. Does that make sense? Here's the pic again, and these needs to be adjustable.

If you are talking to me, no vibration to speak of.
