help! need to buy replacement heat shields

help! need to buy replacement heat shields
Well i have a set of vance & hines big black radius 2 in 2. today i was out riding and low and behold the rear cylinder rear shield fell off and got ran over. well it turns out one of the hose clamps broke the mounting bracket and the other one sawed through braket. does anyone know where i can replacement shields on the net or do i have to call n order them from vance & hines direct?

I called v&h last year to see about getting a set of black heat shields. They wanted 300 plus for shields alone. I told them the pipes with shields are 400. I asked if they sell blems or scratched ones cheaper and they said no. Hope u have better luck.

ill give em a call tomorrow. hopefully it wont be over a hundred dollars but knowing my luck it will be and i have a feeling that the chrome tip insert is gonna be a seperate part number as well.

Ive gone through them and they are VERY helpful. Each one of them cost like $103 so if you only need one its not that bad. The guys at V and H have always been coo lto me and they might cut you a break. Good luck. And I might have an extra, I'll check the garage in the morning.
