2012 FXDWG/FXDC ignition switch

Thanks for that,
Its good to know that the plug should just snap straight in and will make life alot easier. This is def something I will be doing, the original location of the ign switch is such a pain compared to my old FatBoy, but may leave it until winter time. Having said that, the weather here in the UK is still like winter........ lol

You can use standard switches.
To switch on the system you have to put a 200 ohm resistor (1/4w or 1/2w) between the two wires.
600 ohm resistor for accessory power.
So solder GND alone. And Y doubling the signal one with 200 ohm resistor to ON and one with 600 ohm resistor to ACC.
I think with Can Bus is simple, but you have to know some specifications of the bus.

I gave infos to use also older switches more cheap and of different shapes.
The Can Bus switches have inside only two resistors.

I want to build my own relocation harness without cutting and welding, and want to buy male/fame connectors.
They are similar to the H11 lamps plugs but it's smaller.
