Flames from the pipes?

Flames from the pipes?

I just noticed last night that if I give the bike a little throttle, hold it, then let off I get flames out of the pipe from the rear cylinder. I've never noticed it do this before. I have Vance and Hines short shots on it. Oh, the bike is in neutral when I do this (Yes, I'm a perpetual 10 year old and like the noise!)

Am I running rich on the rear cylinder? Fouled plug? Normal?

This is my first big twin and my first set of short pipes, I just want to get an idea if something may be wrong.

I guess the big question is, do you have a tuner for that exhaust? I had a blue flame when i did the same thing. Had this until i got a good tune with my tuner.

Its normal.

I had short shots on a sportie and the same thing would happen, pretty cool actually.

I had side shots on my street bob and same thing, flame thrower!

Both had been dynoed with a power commander.
