Default No slip ons

I had a late night last Friday and then my neighbour decides to have a drunken kareoke session at 4 am on saturday morning. They went on and on singing some Robbie Williams cr@p.

Badly.

I had to get up for my kids at 7:00, so I basically got about 2 hours sleep.

I've been wondering how my superglide would sound without any slip ons, just pipes, and what better time to find out .

I put the blue tarp down in case a heap of black crap blew out onto my pavers, but nothing came out. I used to like longer pipes but I really like the look of no slip-ons at all (I've come to like the look of short shots and sideshots these days too).

Started her up. AWESOME sound. Way too loud to ride around the streets but it sure blew the cobwebs out.

I loved it.

I'm sure the neighbour did too.

I decided to open up the baffles a bit as well. I didn't even take them out, just flattened internal scoop into the baffle area with a big screwdriver, thereby allowing more gas straight through the exhuast. It worked really well, it is now noticably louder, and crisper.

Not sure if I'd like the sound but on your bike that looks great!

Sounds......like it's either time to move or get new neighbors.

I was thinking of doing that but exteding them with some pipe and adding some baffels dont know how well it would work though...

I did that on mine. I took it around the block and it ran like crap but it was loud.
Endedup just buying short pipes, much better.

Cool. I thought that would be the case.
I didn't want to get the system hot because I was working on it.
