Well I am winding down my first off-season for my Street Bob. Purchased it last July and realized right away that it will be a lifetime of spending as I enjoy personalizing and attempting to improve it. My recent focus was on better hand position and improved ride. Swapped in new bars, installed new shocks and added the Intiminator dampening cartridges in the front, and some other stuff too. Took it for a very short ride to check things out, but the temps outside are particularly wintery today and there is quite a bit of sand on the road.
Sweet lookin scoot. I like the stripes on the sliders. Never seen that before. I like the way you blacked the bars and between the trees, and left the trees and sliders bare. Good contrast. What sissy bar is that?

Thank you all for the kind comments!
I used satin black vinyl wrap on the upper tubes to try and tie in the black and chrome....the stripes on the lower tubes is a bit of an experiment to try and help balance things out and provide contrast....however it does kinda look a little like I used electrical tape now and probably kills any illusion that any of the stickered area is properly powder coated. Easy enough to remove it or try something different if that is what I decide.
The sissy bar is a one-off from Ray Bowman....great guy to work with. He put the pad mounting spot on it for the HD pad used for the HD one-piece...however I didn't care for the look of that pad once I got it mounted up and took it to a local upholstery guy to reshape it to match the bar better (imo).
