Here are the part numbers for the 05
Look at the last 2 numbers after the hyphen, that is the first year for that part, as you can see they have been using the same exact part for years. ie the sissy bar from an 02 will work on all Wide Glides from 02 to 05, side plate has not changed since 93.

Yeah, try buying the chrome strut covers, about 120 a piece if I remember right.

To the OP, PM if you are interested in the whole setup, I have a spare set here.
