Interested to know what problem(s) you have after the swap. Is it wires you crossed or did you use the wrong pin holes at the connectors?

Unfortunately I do not have 2007 diagrams...

Doing a quick scan of 2006 and 2008 diagrams, color codes used at the handlebar seem to be the same. So perhaps you could check out those diagrams?

I'm not sure, when everything was connected and switch turned on....without pushing my start button just the on/off swith, the bike would attempt to start. When the run switch is off everything else works fine. The left side I didn't get the turn signal to work...ideas?

When you extended the wires did you just cut them and soldered the extensions or did you take apart the connectors as well?

Actually, I purchased the Burly kit....cables and wires. The Burly wires did not fit into the plastic connectors I have. Then, purchased a plug and play wire kit for $23. I have my local dealership install the wire extensions into the plastic plug. I wrote down where all wires plugged into which holes. Once I got it back the next day (yesterday) i connected the extended wires to my existing wires and soldered at the connection area. Then used shrink wrap and black electrical tape on top of that.
I already explained the results....going back to step 1 I rechecked the wires and which holes they were plugged into. Everything is bass ackwards! #%^&!!!
The dealership placed it looking at the opposite end of what I wrote down. Now, unplug all wires, and try to reconnect and the holes in the plug don't accept the wires. On a few anyway. Broken somewhere inside the hole...now need to order new plastic plugs!

Oh and BTW, I do not recommend the Burly kit! Clutch cable too long, wires don't fit connectors, poor directions. Live and learn.

Thank you Rene' for all the help. You are wonderful!
