So I have this brand new set of throw over bags that was given to me just after I got my bike. They are a quality set of rigid (semi rigid?) leather bags.. dont recall the brand since Im at work... maybe Saddleman. ... Anyways... I've never used em because they are large enough to require a turn dig relocate on my dyna...
I know I would need those brackets + Sig Relocate. I think the Brackets come with the rest.
That puts the price of the project around 200$ maybe less depending on how I relo the sigs.... Since I have nothing invested in the bags I think I can live with that...
But I gotta guess there are other methods of mounting the bags too - Anyone know of alternatives to the Easy Brackets? +/- money not really a question right now as I wana investigate my options
I looked around at a bunch of alternatives, but ended up going with Easy Brackets because of quality and reviews, and I have not been dissapointed.
Like you, my bags (ammo cans) cost me near nothing- $30, so I figured the $200ish for the brackets and plate relocator was worth it, and I was not dissapointed, great product and I am very happy still.
i had the cycle visions barebacks on my last ride and i think i will go the same route when i get bags for the new one. Very clean look when the bags are off and rock steady on the road. They didnt stick out as far as it looked like the easy brackets did.
I relocated my signals to a bar on my license plate.
