Default Need torque specs
09 fxdb
Need to torque the triple tree top clamp.
So i need the t-45 fork tube pinch bolt torque #'s and the 1 3/4 top clamp bolt torque number.

Thanks a ton. Don't have a manual

Pinch bolts: 30-35 ft-lbs (40.7-47.5 Nm)

Stem nut: 70-80 ft-lbs (95-108.5 Nm)

This is from the '10 manual, should be the same.

Should there be locative on the fork stem but and if so what color?

No Loctite needed,

There are only 2 torque settings on a Harley:
  1. Tight
  2. Feckin' Tight
