Default Inner Tubes

Getting ready to put new tires on my wide glide. I have been told that I should put new tubes in at the same time. Looking at tires from motorcylesuperstore.com and there are so many different brands of tubes in a wide range of prices.
Anybody got any experience? I haven't bought tubes since the dirt bike days and we bought cheapest we could find back then.

I haven't had to buy tubes lately (like you said ...dirtbike days!). Even Momma's new 2012 Superglide Custom w/spokes are tubless (i wonder if the 2012 Wideglide is tubeless?). Regardless, since your bike is a 2011 and you are already in need of new tires ...chances are even if you bought cheap tubes they will last just fine until your next set of tires (next year??).

to clarify my original post ...I didnt mean to imply that you should use the same tubes when you change you tires. Always get new tubes when you change tires. What I meant was ...even if you bought cheap tubes ...they will do just fine until your next tire change.

I had not thought of it that way, but you are probably right. If I put tires on once a year or so, the tubes should hold up that long. I will probably get some cheaper ones in a brand I have heard of and call it good.
Thanks

A tube and rim band is like 20ish bux at the dealer, I would change them, I just did my front tire with a new tube and band. IMO changem and no worries.

I had the indy put in drag specialties heavy duty tubes last time I had new tires put on, they were something like $10 each.
