Default efi to carb
so i am wanting to convert my 2011 street bob to a kick start which requires convert the efi to carb. anyone done this or know anyone who has? trying to see pros and cons of the switch to carb and what kind of work/money i am looking at? thanks.

you like kick starts enough to deal with pesky carbs? lol NEVER in a million years would I make that sacrifice for ANYTHING!!! I hate carbs. I know it's your bike though so if that's what you want, go for it. I've never kicked a v twin, seems like it'd be hard as crap though. My kx 500 will bout break your leg kicking it.

A carb can be done. A few threads on it.

I dont think you can do a kickstart on a 96ci, way too much compression. Will break a leg with the kickback.

Its not the compression its the crank sensor.

i met this dude a couple months ago, gangster choppers. saw recently he did a street bob with a kick start.

not a huge fan of the bike, but the kick start idea is cool.

pretty funny. it's your bike, as always, if you want to do it then go for it. some people don't like my floorboards on the front, inside my crashbar but I like my mid controls and the floorboards upfront make my bike super comfy and I don't care who likes it and who don't. it works awesome for me!!
