Got 6 years

out of my original FXDBI battery and living near the Wisconsin border with our winters ( not counting this one ) think I did great. The above poster commented on a battery tender and I want him to know it worked for me.

I got stuck once, never again, change batteries every 5 years.

they are nice...
you can use the little clippy things on your truck or car too if you need to. Just takes a while to charge.

which is where the beer comes in ....

parts manager at my dealership told us he got 7 years out of
his factory battery, has always used a tender on the bike
and tells all new owners it is the first thing they should buy.

Into the 4th Year with my original battery and no problems. Always on a tender when in the garage overnight.

when i bought my 09' sporty it came with a tender and I owned the bike till spet last year and the factory battery lasted. I have a 2012 fat bob and I use the tender when I'm home and I hope to get a lot of time out of my battery.
