Help decide on engine color
I am putting in a SE 120R into my 2000 FXDX. The 120 comes with chrome rocker boxes and timing cover. My FXDX 88 is all black.
Should I swap my old black rocker boxes and timing covers with my old engine to keep it all black or should I just leave it chrome?
Can't decide. The 120R sure looks good as is, but my FXDX is black...

the motor was about 5K (its for a pre 2006 so that adds $500 - a 2006+ is only $4500 when I ordered it). Since I ordered it the price has gone up $500 according to the dealer.
other things must be upgraded - clutch for one and because my bike is a 2000 I need to fix the timing position sensor.
The 120R is the cheapest big bore IMHO - must less labor

Are you keeping the stock tranny?
