Hey folks,Ive been looking for this part to come from Joker Machine but it looks like they got beat to market.
Anyone whos used this part or this company and can lend info will be greatly appreciated,I know Joker makes great stuff but havent heard of these people.
It seems like the 06 Gliders need a part number different from the 05's and earlier models. The rep at Joker who makes one for the 05s said it wouldnt fit an 06 or later.I found this one... http://denniskirk.com/jsp/product_ca...;mmyId=7800011
So do youremove the old light out? Seems like it would leave a gaping hole.I don't like the stock Dyna oversized drop down license plate mount. Custom Dynamics makes this one for $159 that isn't a rear brake light replacement, but it is an LED lit side-mount license plate. My plan is to install it and use a dremel tool to cut away the vertical plastic that holds the license plate just beneath the tail light, but to leave the section under the fender that holds the luggage rack mounting bolts.
[align=left]Thats true about the 06's. They have a wider fender than the 05's. I have the one from Joker Machine on my bike. I like the way it cleaned up the tail. I also thought about cutting the plate away as mentioned above as well. But decided to go with the Joker Machine product.
Hey I know its expensive but I hate that big azzed plastic part hanging off the back.
