My buddy who drives an electra glide classic is always on to me asking why I would want a Dyna?Where is the trunk,or radio,or saddlebags,or WINDSHIELD?I like the clean cruiser look.SOme people just dont get it..............
best article in that same mag, is Joe Minton's on getting more power out of your Harley motor: forget air cleaners and pipes - they only make noise, and move the power higher up the rpm band - for more power go bigger bore, change cams, increase compression - all for more useable power, torque, at 2500 to 4000 rpm, where most of us ride anyway.
Did like the article on the convertible Dyna, too! I guess I'll have a ConvertiBob.
do I have to get the magazine to find the part numbers for the detachable bags, sissy bar, windshield ect.? can anyone who has the magazine reply about the cost of said "convertable" package and where do I have to go to check it out? thanks guys, you're great!
There's an'07 dyna on the cover of American Rider this month. It's all decked out with detachable bags, windshield and backrest. They go on to say what a versatile bike the dyna is and it can loaded up to tour or stripped and cruise the boulevard.
Course, we dyna owners have known this for a while. The article is spot on as I have all the detacheables they mention and indeed I can barge it out in strip in down in seconds.
Good read!
i agree with the versatile part.i have a 3 in 1 dyna
