So I washed and waxed the bike today ('11 fxdwg). While waxing the left side of tank I bumped the fuel gauge very lightly a couple times, and the whole assembly came out of the tank. Is this thing supposed to come out so easily? I would think it would be screwed in or attached with some kind of hardware that would need tools, not just pulled right out. Is this normal or should it be addressed?
