Fat Bob with mids

What year(s) was the Fat Bob available with mid controls? Salesman at my nearest dealership didn't even know they were an option...would help narrow my search...

I have an '08 that came with mids. I love mine but a lot of guys hated the mids and switched them out, you might be able to pick up a set and put them on any year FXDF. I think the mounting holes are still on all years.

Mids were available for the '08 & '09 FB - starting '010 only forwards offered, but mids mounting bosses still located on frame. Parts Catalog has breakdown of pieces needed to make conversion.

You will need a different heat shield if going to mids, fyi. The one ahead of the mufflers.

I'm working on collecting the parts to convert my '09 FB to mids - you are going to need a new inner and outer primary along with a bunch of other stuff. Very expensive if you buy new, shop around on the used markets.

Thanks guys; the takeoff stuff is out there...if I'm shopping for a used bike I can wait 'till I find the right one...took nearly 6 months to find my FXDXT, but she's getting a bit old for touring a long way from home...
