Default Cleaning Wrinkle Black

I used some liquid wax last year on my bike. While applying it to the painted surfaces around the bike I also managed to get it on quite a few parts covered in the wrinkle black finish (cases, covers, peg mounts etc). I wasn't too concerned as I thought it would easily rinse/wash or wear off. WRONG. These white smears seem impossible to get off. It's not hurting anything but looks like crap. Does anyone know what can be used to clean the wrinkle black finish?

Thanks,
Linz

Sometimes a soft brush will help.

Just warm water and a toothbrush will loosen that up fine. Then rinse away.

Try Mothers Back To Black, it's made for black trim and works great... I used it on my FXDF wrinkle black and it makes it look new.

Used the S100 engine brightener on my 2006 SB. The black was starting to look a little faded/chalky. Now it looks like brand new. Best $10 I have spent so far.

Wd40 and a rag.

That's what I use at the detail shop. Pig spit over sprays everywhere.

An old toothbrush will take up the stubborn ****.
