Paid 5800 for the bike (was crashed, laid down on right side)
1200 for pipes/front fender/bars/body work/levers/mirrors/forward controls to put her on the road
Mods round 1
350 for bars
250 for new top triple tree
250 for powder coat
100 for headlight
450 for air intake
300 for pcv
300 for turn signals front and rear
100 for led brake light
Mods round 2
100 for drop in front springs
300 for progressive shocks
1800 for ride wright wheels
200 for seat
200 for rotors
100 for powder coat
Mods round 3
100 for head light
400 for la briola jockey shift setup
400 for paint/body work on custom rear fender/fender struts
200 for powder coat
100 for side mount plate/light
200 for joker machine peg set
That makes 6200 in mods, not counting miscellaneous **** like axle covers hot toppers 2 diff sets of grips, 3 diff sets of levers, dyno tuning twice.
All that and I'm 12k total for my bike as she sits.

I bought my bike for $8600 and the previous owner had already spent a pretty penny on it ... since Ive had it maybe another $1000-$1500

I limit the amount that I put into a bike because I focus on having several bikes.
I do the basics which is a fuel programmer, better air intake, small wind deflector but I leave the exhaust alone.
The 10 Super Glide was a bargain at $1,500 off MSRP , no set up fee and the 5K service thrown in.
After riding awhile I decided to add the rear fender luggage rack and the turn signal relocation kit. Everything I did was at 20% off so I think I am at about $700 total. I'm thinking of better rear shocks so that amount may double.
Still under MSRP with the add on's.
