Default Killed my tach.... HELP

I have a 2002 Low rider and was wiring in an aftermarket stereo and was trying to find a hot wire under my speedometer and tachometer gauges, when i was testing the wires, i must have touched two at the same time or something because it gave a little spark and now my tachometer does not work nor does the light behind the tachometer nor the light behind my gas gauge.....

I do not have a manual either.

Are there any fuses that I might have blown? Or did I completely just kill those gauges?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Greetings guard503

In order to get help your going to need to post your year make model up so someone can lookup info to be able to answer your question.

If you saw a spark and it doesn't work now you have blown a fuse probably, not a big deal though, check your side panels for the location of your fuses.

Sorry, it is a 2002 Harley Low rider FXDL.

I have looked all over for fuses but have not been able to locate any as of yet. Obviously I did not look very hard. I will try checking it out again this afternoon.

Thanks again for the help.

Your gauges are probably OK. My 07 has fuses behind the left side cover. When you find them it's better to test the fuses for continuity rather than a visual check. It may look good but could be blown. It's also a good precaution to disconnect the battery ground cable when you're doing electrical work.

Thanks guys. It ended up being a fuse.

Now I've got to get a new gas gauge because that just stopped working a while ago. Not sure how or why either. I stopped one day and filled up with gas and then when I started the bike back, it was no longer working. Not sure if gas splashed up on the gauge and killed it or what.

Anyone know of a good place to find a decently priced gauge?

Thanks again!
