Believe me - I was in the same place last year after buying this baby. Thought that built 95 would satisfy me a while - well it didn't. Then an unexpected win fall on taxes. Found out I didn't have to pay self employment tax for last year so I spent what I was saving up to pay it before Uncle Sam changed his mind

Now what to do with that old motor sitting in the box. Shame it only has 10K miles on it. Man cave display. Hate to sell it because it matches the FXDX.

Maybe you can swap it with someone who still has an 88" FXDX and wants to go big bore. You can get their engine and some cash. This way you still have an original DX engine.

im going with the axtell 97 inch kit and mild head work but i will wait till august when its to hot to ride here to install
