07 Street Bob Ignition Switch

Anyone have problems turning the key in the switch? At times it works ok, other times its a PITA to turn.

Tough To Turn

Get some dry graphite grease with a little tube applicator. Squirt some in the lock and turn it on and off several times till it eases up.
It fixed mine.

Try to wiggle the handlebar while you turn the igntion, it could be the steering neck lock putting pressure. Mine does

Graphite will fix it up and ditto what 128auto said as well.. Had to do my FXD a couple times. The first time it happened I was a long way from home at a byob weekender and couldnt get my bike to turn on after the overnight dew had collected on it.. Finally freed up after jacking with it for almost an hour. This is where I quickly turned my attention to relocating my switch lol
