Fuel pump

Hey guys, so Im wondering why while riding if I stop at a light or whatever I can hear the fuel pump making the same noise it does when the key is first turned on an the system pressurizes?

This is a normal Harley Davidson experience... along with gas drips if you own a Switchback....
