Newbie exhaust gasket question??

Ok. I'm almost embarassed that I asked. I found a hook in my drawer of misc tools and after a little poking I pulled then both out in seconds. Thanks for the help guys. I'll figure something out with a piece of wooden dowel to install the new ones.

Including me ! I used a 8" long, 3/4" floor moulding quarter round (the home depot kind that sits right next to your floor on the wall.) to tap the gaskets in worked like a charm. Just make sure and start them in stright with thumbs and fingers!

Now, to ease installing the new crush gaskets, rub some dish soap on them & work from top to bottom until seated flat into the exhaust port(s). They are a bugger, but will go...just have to be persistent & patient.
