Yellow stain on outer primary (possible gas leak)

Yellow stain on outer primary (possible gas leak)
Had a yellow stain on my outer primary cover from it sitting for a month while i was training in the field. The wife started the bike about once a week let it run and that was it it was not moved. The stain is directly under were the quick disconnect is for the gas tank. I had this "o ring" replaced. Just wondering if anyone would know what this could be. Thanks. I"ll post pictures if you need it.

Yeah i used purple power it came off. Am i going to have to get it replaced again was all or is this a normal problem for these bikes. and thanks for the cleaning tips i'll file those in my book of things to clean lol
