Both o the issues with the '06 bikes are in the primary case and fairly easy to solve if you are in the least bit mechanically inclined. The stator can be spot welded and the inner primary bearing replaced with a Baker Hi Torque bearing. Even if you pay someone to do it your looking at about $400 with parts and labor. Not enough to steer me away from a good deal.
That being said,$ 9500 for an '06 is not a good deal.

It's a screamin' deal. Even if you ship it it's a much better deal than the '06. I just bought a bike from this site and worked with a shipping co. that acts as an escrow co as well.
