I like the MS lowers quite a bit with my MS slim 15" windshield. The price is pretty decent on them too. IMO it will likely solve all your problems. And I do use factory mids as well as fwd highway pegs, no difference to me.

Here's a pic of the bracket, the windshield is laying down. I still have it in the in the garage, snapped a quick pic.

This helped a lot! Just limited how far forward I could adjust my bars. 14" R6C.

I remember reading one thread where some guys did a tank lift and that eliminated the wind buffeting.

I'm gonna have to try that. I just picked up a windshield for longer rides and got some buffeting while I was testing it out.

Funny. Never really thought about which would look worse, riding a harley with a fullface probably but some of the windshields look awful as well.

This works for me.

It also works well without the shield , smooths the wind.

No buffeting. Period...

Memphis Shades lowers (along with a fork bag) solved my problem with buffeting as well. With the shield and the lowers, I can now ride US-12 between Niles and Sturgis, MI in June and July at night without getting the usual 1/4" coating of bug guts!
