Can someone give me the length of the highway peg clevis(holds peg to mount) got mounts and not clevis or pegs so I need to make sure to get right length.

 

Harley standard is a 3/8" clevis

 

Use 3/8" x 1.5" bolts with nylock nuts. Maybe 5/16" bolts, not sure on newer models, mine came with nut and bolt setup. Use stainless hardware, available at Lowes or Ace.

i was wandering if this was correct for dyna highway mounts. (i have the part that goes to the frame) trying to be a cheapo, i bought them on ebay and was going to peice together some highway pegs.

i know on sportsters one is longer than the other. so i was just wandering if the 3.5 inch would have the pegs out far enough to be usable. looks right but just wanted to double check.

I don't know about those. But I want to figure out a way to get mine further out than what I have with the Harley set up.

 

About how long is the part that holds the peg to the mount?

 

Were you asking me? I measured it and its the same size as the one your looking at. I would like to be out at least and inch maybe 2 more inches.
