Won't help OP to solve his problems though. His '03 FXDL is carbed while yours has the fuel pump inside the tank.

I got mine on Ebay. It was a pretty decent one for way less than a Pingle. I didn't want to pay for a Pingle as I was still trying to sort out my problem. Now that I have, I will probably put the stock vacuum operated fuel valve back on. If you search for fuel valves, you need to spell it manual.
