None whatsoever. Even the air cleaner assembly is fine. I've got at least 1,000 miles on my last "dip" and so far so good. I will say, that I have gotten much better results form spraying through an HVLP gun than the rattlecan. I'm working on becoming an authorized Plasti-Dip installer (as they call it) so I hope to be able to provide some discounts, and become a forum sponsor, if need be in order to do so.
Hi,
I am interested in becoming a authorized dealer my self, how much did it cost you and what all was needed? Good cost decrease?
Keep in mind that this stuff was developed to dip the handles of tools into to give a softer more durable and comfortable feel to the handles and also to make them insulated against electrical shock. Plasti dip has been around for at least 35 years. The more coats you use the tougher the stuff will be. It never completely loses it's flexibility but does become more durable as it cures. On parts that you will rub against just use more coats and build it up thicker.
So happy to find a cheap & easy solution to black out my bike...however, I think I may have messed it up already. I put on 3 coats, and wanted to put on another 3 coats, but had to stop for the day. So, does anybody know if the current coats will peel off when i take tape off tomorrow, being that it will be dried? I appreciate any help or advice!!!

I f it dries on tape....it will lift when pulling the tape....some cut the edge with a razor blade.....but you run the risk of scratching whats underneath
