2002 FXD stock needle
My bike runs fine but I'm going to buy new main, pilot and needle to get it back to stock with clean new jets. I read that the stock needle is no longer available?

Have you checked the dealer? Some can access discontinued stuff thru Vintage Parts...anyhow; a parts book will tell you what you need and a parts person can check in a moment...I have my own parts and service books for both bikes I take care of...also; if anyone has put non-HD needles and jets in you'll have to change them both...one of the best mechanics I know won't even let you enter the shop with a dynojet kit in hand; claims there's nothing you CAN'T do with factory parts and don't want to get them mixed in his shop...

I've always had best luck with the factory parts. I'll check the needle jet and all - I always go back to stock and work from there. Runs good, doesn't smell rich but the guage moves pretty fast. Thanks
