Any suggestions on manufacturers who make the reduced handlebars? (Preferably Apes)
Unless somebody really did a major change out on your bike I agree with the others that there is no way you have 3/4" bars and your dealer rep/salesman or whoever told you they were is an idiot. Not only would the bars be non Harley, the switch controls would not be either or would have to be seriously modified since HD doesn't even make 3/4" switch housings anymore as the current era switches are all 1" because even the Fat Bob and Wide Glides which use 1.25" bars have tapered ends to fit 1" switch housings. Plus the triple tree center clamps would have to be different and finding 3/4" center clamps is also tough as only a few major brand bikes even use 3/4" anymore so your talking a lot of effort just to make the bike work with a 3/4" handlebar. If you have current style Harley blinker switches on each end of the handlebar it ain't a 3/4" bar. My Triumph had 3/4" bars and they were just a PITA to find aftermarket stuff to switch out to.
running a set of 1 1/2 inch burly drag bars, 6 inck rise. clears the tank and still allows for the bar mounted turn sigs.
I had to change out the top clamp but that was no biggy.
Bike is way more responsive with these bars on, and almost no vibes thru the bars.
