Default Thicker handlebars on streetbob

Anybody out there have larger than 3/4" bars on their streetbob? I have a 2011 and was told by the dealership that was max diameter. Any input would help.

My 06 SB came with 10 inch Mini Apes (1 Inch bars) waiting to get it back after switching them out for 1.25 LA Chopper 12 inch Nice Curves.

The larger bars are reduced down to 1 inch in the riser and grip area.

I believe that 1" bars are standard in your case. You can always go larger and have them reduced down to 1" in the grips and riser areas. Pretty standard. Not sure what your dealership is talking about with the 3/4" stuff. I'd be leary of that dealership....

Any suggestions on manufacturers who make the reduced handlebars? (Preferably Apes)

Yea.......ah........well.......I wouldn't take my bike to that guy anymore........almost every HD bike has 1" diameter bars with the exception of the few running 1.25" bars, but no .75", not for a very long time.

Look up Wild 1, LA Choppers, Carlini Gansters or Flying Apes and look for 1.25-1.50 bars, Chubby....All are going to have 1 inch reduced surface area.

You can also get risers in 1 1/4". Fatboy bars are reduced at the grips but not at the risers. H-D has 16" and I believe 12" apes in 1 - 1/4".
