I have purchased my first Harley after being on the less sedate models of the German machines for the past few years.
A black 2012 FLD switchback now sits in the garage and I am loving it.
well mostly.....I find the screen is at just that annoying height that results is a fair amount of buffeting. Get real annoying on longer rides.
have any suppliers come out with a shorter screen for the switchback yet so I can get some cleaner air.
There are may companies out there Harley included that make taller shields but so far have yet to see any onn the market. You might want to check with Memphis Shades to see what they have. Shoot them an email to see what they can do. I know that they are getting ready release the batwing fairing
I would check with windvest.com, ask for doug he is the owner.
I have had these windshields on 2 harleys and I think they are the best around. They are small but do alot. No buffeting problems at all
i too have been looking for a short one (black tint) like the one HD makes for the Road King but I don't believe we have much for options unless you want stock height or taller.
