is it worth it to swap short shots for big shots?

I have the Vance Hines Big Shots and should be installing quiet baffles this weekend. The stock ones sound too much like their running in a large garage(echo). It resonates a base sound too much at idle and take off. I just hope for a nice smoother deeper sound. Hopefully i won't regret buying them. Could just go back to stock right?

The choice comes down to what you like and want. If you want to go fast well you bought the wrong bike. Having a fast Harley is kind of like having the fastest sail boat. Its still slow unless you spend alot of money. My bike could be faster but I like the look and sound of the short shots w/quiet baffles. Thats what matters to me. Just gotta go with whats important to you.

Since i only have the exhaust done, there has not been that much of a difference in performance (power) of which i didn't expect much to begin with without adding the hi-flow air cleaner as well. Even though i want it to run better i'm not looking for added power, but just for it to run better and have the right sound i'm looking for. Since i'm a light person to begin with (145 lbs) this bike is quick enough for my riding.
